Hey you! Update your browser.
I am no longer developing my personal site for IE 6. Please update to a modern browser.
If, for some reason, you’ve found yourself here using Internet Explorer 6, you need to update your browser. Please choose one of the following: Firefox, Safari, Opera and/or Internet Explorer 7 (there’s a beta for IE8, if you’re feeling adventurous). Google has recently gotten into the browser game, and (if you’re on Windows) you can download a beta of their unbelievably fast Chrome.
Hello & Welcome
About Me
I am a freelance web designer / front-end developer living in Nashville, TN. I specialize in beautifully designed websites, web applications, and HTML / CSS. I recently got married and became Shelly Cooper (new URL coming soon!).
I'm inspired by minimalism, color, texture, and order. Sometimes I knit. Sometimes I bind books. I take pictures, listen to a lot of music, and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Daily I design web sites and am especially interested in web standards, clean code, and beautiful functional design.
I've been designing since 1995 when I first discovered graphic design at the University of Tennessee. Web Design is my passion. Figuring out new ways to display and present information or data by playing around with layout, structure, and design elements in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and then later converting that design in to valid, semantic mark-up is what I love.
Read a recent interview of me by Luc Arnold over at Spicy Web Designers.
